🪴I Touched Some Grass — How One Tiny Action Shifted My Entire Day
I Touched Some Grass — A Small Action With a Surprisingly Big Impact
Recently, I wasn’t feeling like myself. My energy was low, my body was recovering, and mentally I felt foggy and unmotivated. It was one of those phases where you're technically “better,” but something inside you still feels off.
At some point, I realised I was stuck in a loop of low energy and low motivation feeding into each other. So I paused and asked myself:
The answer turned out to be incredibly simple:
Take a break. Step outside. Touch some grass.
A Small Action
I walked outside for just a couple of minutes and stepped into a garden. Nothing dramatic. No long walk. No effort.
Just: grass under my feet, fresh air, sunlight.
And the impact?
Surprisingly big.
I felt lighter. Clearer. More present. Not magically healed, but noticeably better — instantly.
That’s when it hit me:
Why It Works
Maybe it was the change of scenery. Maybe the sunlight. Maybe simply giving my body and mind a different signal than “work, think, repeat.”
Whatever the reason, that tiny moment was enough to interrupt the loop I was stuck in.
Nature has a way of reminding me who I am underneath the noise.
And sometimes that's all the reset you need.
Sometimes it could even be a 1-minute reset. And sometimes all it takes is a soft landing.🛬
The Power of Small Things
This experience reminded me that change doesn’t always come from grand gestures. Often, it's the smallest actions that create the biggest ripple.
- A breath
- A pause
- A few steps outside
Simple things, real impact.
Closing Thoughts
I have plenty more to say about emotional balance and well-being, but for today I wanted to share this one simple reminder:
Sometimes, one tiny action is enough to shift your whole day.
Keeping life in motion.
See you in the next one. 🌿
Take care, namaste! 🙏
